职位描述
Essential Functions:
1.Review and respond to customer inquiries with support and direct involvement from Business Develop department, purchasing, planning, operation, warehouse, and other related department. Communicate to customers on delivery schedule; negotiate with customers on request dates;
2.Provide sales history and forecast. Provide timely sales order entry and update, based on documented customer requests. Coordinate related work with purchasing, import & export, planning, warehouse for on-time delivery;
3.Accountable for managing the overall strategic production planning practices taking into consideration short term/long term production requirements and integrating materials availability;
4.Lead all Supply Chain Management activities within the BU. This will include establishing preferred supplier selection criteria based on supplier evaluations of price, quality, delivery, certifications, compliance with governmental procurement regulations and Group programs. Will establish, and implement standard/automated re-order procedures. Will develop crisis management and supplier backup contingency programs. Negotiates long term contracts in coordination with Group staff and policies;
5.Responsible for managing the BU operational inventory to ensure adequate stocking levels for immediate production items and forecasting for future requirements. Will establish and implement standard/automated delivery procedures for just in time supplier stocking items;
6.Accountable for managing the BU overall strategic production planning practices taking into consideration short term/long term production requirements and integrating materials availability. Will establish and implement procedures for special order request, engineering changes and part substitutions, and sales market demand for products;
7.Will manage the BU’s transportation logistics to ensure distribution of products direct to customers, distribution centers or warehouses are completed with optimum service at the most efficient cost;
8.Teach and develop the supply chain team. Prepare and implement training and development plans for the key talents of the supply chain team.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5-7 years managerial experience in supply chain management.
·Bachelor degree in engineering, materials management or business management.
·Solid analytical, technical and computer skills required to understand business practices.
·Knowledge and experiences in MRP/ERP.
·Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.
·Fluent English
·Must be an innovator and embrace lean enterprises principles and practices.
