Recruitment of Zhejiang University Press Job Position/Department:
Copyright Manager/International Cooperation & Development Department
Job Duties:
· Create and update rights catalogues for the selling of Chinese books to foreign markets
· Attend international book fairs
· Upload suitable Chinese titles to online rights platforms
· Research on the latest trends in international publishing keeping staff and leadership up to date
· Make proposals to editors on topics of interest to international audiences
· Support the importing of books from abroad by assisting in the selection of titles and contract negotiations
· Finding and developing relationships and channels with foreign publishers, libraries, agents, authors etc.
· Proofreading and polishing English books and proposals
· Develop Zhejiang University Press’ reputation abroad through the use of social media and English website
Qualification:
· English native speaker, better if know some Chinese
· Bachelor degree or above
