A foreign visitor once said, “When you enter this landscape, you feel part of a wonderful Chinese painting.” On this beautiful land there are 37 different ethnic groups. The minority ethnic groups are famous for their folk songs, hence Guangxi is called the Home of folk songs. The different minority groups, sweet music, different kinds of dances and traditional clothes all join together to make a colorful folk picture. The songs of the Zhuang, the dances of the Yao, the festivals of the Miao, the bridges and towers of the Dong are the four highlights of Guangxi folk traditions. |
