山东大学新生入学教育持续一个学期，组织形式多种多样。在9月至10月间，山大将举行办学传统和办学特色宣传讨论、图书馆使用及图书借阅常识、文明礼仪教育、名师教授见面会以及新生党员奉献月等活动。小树林文化论坛、科学畅想曲、人文纵横等校园品牌文化活动新生专场也将陆续开展。此外，全校各学院还将开展“走进心灵”新生适应性心理健康知识讲座、新生心理团体辅导、新生入党启蒙教育等系列活动。
