借鉴“湖州模式” 大学新校区应参与新农村建设

    在笔者看来，“湖州模式”虽然在农村地区积极开展产学研活动并取得了一定的成效，但从本质上讲，仍然属于传统的帮农、扶农形式，难以在大范围推行，政策惠及的农户还是少数。原因很简单：在该模式的运作中，浙大师生作为外来者，并不能像民国时期晏阳初的乡村建设那样，长年累月地扎根在农村，从而能根本改变农村的制度环境。

    我们不能苛求今天再出现一大批晏阳初式的理想主义者，但就现实情况而言，我们的大学还是能以务实的方式参与新农村建设。近年来，大学城或是一些著名高校的新校区在各地遍地开花。这些新校区绝大多数都建在农村或城市郊区，但目前仍按原有管理模式，筑起围墙，自成一统，隔绝于周边社会。对新农村建设来讲，这种封闭的模式是不可取的，是社会资源的巨大浪费。

    从长远看，一旦这种资源互补的合作方式长期进行，完全可以促进当地经济、文化、社会事业协调发展，真正实现新农村建设目标。（严泉）
