　　展会上，50所美国院校纷纷展示自己留学领域的"长项"--奖学金。号称"上市公司CEO摇篮"的旧金山大学介绍，他们的奖学金是按学分分配的。圣路易斯大学则为最好的学科提供每年1000至1万美元不等的300多个奖学金项目。

　　留学日本的费用一直让中国留学生感到为难，此次参展的日本展团在最显眼的展台打出了"奖学金"的字样。精明的日本学校还专门制作了一张"中国学生赴日可申请的奖学金"说明表，其中包括9项奖学金项目，可为学生提供每月9万至18万日元的资助，而据统计，在日本留学每月的平均花费约为13.6万日元。据介绍，日本的留学生人数已经接近11.8万，其中7.4万都是中国学生。

　　除了奖学金，还有一些国家以放宽移民政策和打工条件来吸引学生。新西兰今年拓展了学生打工计划，符合条件的留学生可在学习期间每周工作20小时。新加坡有关部门规定，各国留学生到新加坡就读5所理工学院或3所公立大学，都有机会申请占学费70%至80%的学费资助，享受学费资助的学生，毕业后要在新加坡注册公司工作3年。

　　从9月1日起，澳大利亚也开始对留学生实行新的移民政策，学生毕业后可获得一年半的澳大利亚工作签证。而对中国留学市场，澳大利亚各个高校也非常重视，西悉尼大学的参展人员说，目前每年都会有3000名左右的中国学生到该校留学。(李莉)
